Brief Meanings of Resell Rights Lingo

You may have noticed that while browsing through the ebooks, several of them come with certain resell rights. So, what does this all mean?

Resell Rights:

After purchasing the product, you may resell the product and keep all the profits for yourself. You cannot change the product in any way (unless otherwise stated in the license agreement). For example, you can’t take out certain pages or put your name on it. You can only resell the product as-is.

Master Resell Rights:

After purchasing the product, you may resell the product and you can also sell others the right to resell that product.  You cannot change the product in any way (unless otherwise stated in the license agreement). For example, you can’t take out certain pages or put your name on it. You can only resell the product as-is.

Branding Rights:

After purchasing the product, you may put your name or any links on the product itself and resell it. You may not sell others the right to resell  that product unless the product clearly states that it also comes with master resll rights.

Private Label Rights:

After purchasing the product, you may put your name on the product and resell it. Sometimes, you can even claim copyright, but often the original copyright remains the same. Many PLR products also grant you permission to modify the product as you wish.
